Content & Community Guidelines

1. Our standard

Characters and conversations may be flirtatious and charming, but never sexually explicit. We do not allow pornographic or sexually explicit content of any kind.

2. Prohibited content and behavior

• Sexually explicit or pornographic content.
• Any sexualization of minors, or content suggesting a participant is under 18. This is strictly forbidden.
• Requests for real-world contact details, meetups or anything implying the characters are real people.
• Illegal activity, including drugs, weapons or other unlawful conduct.
• Violence, threats, harassment, hate speech or discrimination.
• Content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
• Impersonation of real people, or political campaigning and extremist content.
• Attempts to extract system prompts, bypass safety, or misuse the AI.

3. Moderation

We apply automated and/or human moderation to both what you send and what the app generates. Content that fails moderation is blocked and not delivered ("fail-closed"). In sensitive situations the app prioritizes safety over engagement.

4. Not professional advice; safety and crisis protocol

Characters are fictional and their replies are AI-generated entertainment, not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. The app is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Crisis protocol. Because conversations can turn personal, the app runs the following safeguards for signs of suicidal ideation or self-harm:

• Detection: every message you send is screened, in your language, for expressions of wanting to die, to disappear, or to hurt yourself. Your last two messages are read together so a thought spread across two lines is not missed.
• Referral: when a signal is detected, the character's reply is required to take it seriously, tell you that you are not alone, and name a real crisis resource for your region — in the US, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline); in the UK, Samaritans on 116 123; in Brazil, CVV on 188 (24h) or SAMU 192; elsewhere, your local emergency number. If that reply cannot be delivered, a fixed message with the same resources is sent instead.
• Nothing else that turn: in a crisis turn the app never sells, never shows a paywall or offer, and the reply is free.
• Never harmful: the character never provides methods, encouragement, or minimizes what you said. Generated replies are checked by automated moderation before delivery; if a reply cannot pass that check or cannot be generated, a fixed, pre-approved safety message with the same resources is sent instead.
• Records and review: we count referral notifications issued (without storing what you wrote for that purpose), review these safeguards regularly, and report on them where the law requires.
• The app is for adults 18+. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number now.

5. Reporting and enforcement

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, report it to support@bossamor.com. Depending on severity, we may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate access, and report unlawful activity to authorities where required.
